Scentura - Scam of the Scentury!!!!!

Biggest scam I've ever fallen for. They trick you into thinking you're going to have a store and sell their product but you end up selling perfume to people in the streets, or parking lots, or the mall, (until security throws you out). Then if you sell enough and actually get "promoted" you'll end up with an office and a phone and you'll recruit innocent unemployed people like yourself to come in listen to your ***, and then go sell perfume in the streets like you did.

Horrible people run this company....don't waste your time or energy!

Review about: Perfume.

You forgot to tell people that these type companies lead you to believe that you are going to make base pay plus commission but that there is NO base pay, this is strictly commission. You are responsible for your own gas and they will have you driving all over the place.

On the second "interview", you will spend the whole day shadowing a more experienced employee, i.e. someone who has lasted like 2 weeks, and your "class" will be told to go home over the weekend and sell as many bottles of perfume to friends, family, neighbors, etc. Monday morning, everyone will have sold a bunch and the one with the most sales is suppose to win a cash prize, but they always find a reason not to award the money. No one, except the people at the very top, make any money.

Everyone else actually slips further into poverty. The very idea that you could make a living selling knockoff perfume in parking lots is insane. Think about it. It doesn't make any sense.

And how humiliating would it be for your friends to see you standing in a CVS parking lot, harassing people to buy perfume?! You would be better off to work at McDonalds! At least that way, you would have a set schedule, you would know you were getting a paycheck and the amount and you could plan a budget. And you wouldn't be out in all elements of weather, badgering strangers who just want you to go away.

These companies have a steady influx of people coming in and out the door. What people don't stop and realize is, as long as they have people going home over that first weekend, selling like mad to their friends and family, trying to win that non-existent $500 cash prize, the company has sold enough for the week to get by and it doesn't matter to them if you quit or not, because they have another group they just hired and they will repeat the process with them.
